I have very mixed emotions right now. The IS saw the doc yesterday regarding some swallowing issues he's been having. He recently had a procedure done by the ENT to try to alleviate the problem, but it didn't seem to have helped. The PA saw us, and told him that his docs would get together to formulate a treatment plan, but if nothing worked, his only choice will be a PEG tube. Is this the beginning of the end?

I have been feeling unbelievably overwhelmed lately. There are just too many things going on, and I can't seem to concentrate on any of them. My husband had an outpatient procedure on Monday, fairly minor, but it has been stressful. His weight is down to 125 and even though he's only 5'8", he looks like a concentration camp survivor. It worries me that he may end up having to have a feeding tube. At only 57 years old, it's just too soon for that. He's been having panic attacks for the past year or so, and I've had to calm him down. We take our son off to college in 10 days, and I worry what will happen once he's gone. Will I be able to handle everything on my own?
